ROBOTIC ASSISTED SURGERY (DAVINCI®)

Today, the robotic assistant has revolutionised the surgical practice of urology, allowing minimally invasive approaches with minimal incisions for highly complex procedures (nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy, cure of the pyeloureteral junction...).

It improves the quality of the surgical procedure by optimising, for example, the preservation of the vasculo-nervous system in prostatectomy in order to prevent post-operative erectile dysfunction. The entire Provence Urology team has been using the robot since 2011.
